Tyumen regional television aired a story on the final stage of construction of the ProteinSib complex in the Ishim District. The facility, for which ZAVKOM-ENGINEERING is providing technological equipment, will become the first production plant of this scale in the country and one of the largest specialized assets in Europe. Upon reaching full capacity, the plant will supply up to 5.5% of the global volume of pea deep processing products.
The project establishes a new framework for Russia's food security, dramatically reducing the dependence of the domestic food and pharmaceutical industries on imported biotechnological ingredients.
The production capacity of the complex will be 70,000 tons of finished products per year
The facility is designed to produce high-margin components: pea protein isolate, pea starch, and dry fiber. These products are in high demand in the production of functional and sports nutrition, hypoallergenic foods, plant-based products, and as a natural alternative to chemical stabilizers and emulsifiers.
In executing such a large-scale project, ZAVKOM-ENGINEERING employs a comprehensive engineering approach, building on its extensive experience in creating process lines for food biotechnology.
The production architecture of the complex is divided into three key blocks: a mill for cleaning and grinding raw materials, a wet process section for fractionating peas, and a drying and packaging area. At present, construction and installation work has entered the final stage, the contours of the complex are fully formed, and preparations are underway for commissioning.

The construction of such industrial facilities confirms that pea deep processing is becoming a strategic industry, and that Russia's bioeconomy is capable not only of meeting domestic needs but also of shaping global trends in the next-generation ingredients market.
