The ZAVKOM-ENGINEERING laboratory carries out a full cycle of work: from the study of raw materials to the development of technological processes. Development and adaptation of biotechnological processes
Selection and adaptation of producer strains, optimization of fermentation regimes, selection and optimization of nutrient media. We have experience in the production of amino acids, organic acids, enzymes, alcohols, polysaccharides and other biosynthetic products.
Scaling on pilot equipment
We carry out fermentations in bioreactors with a volume of up to 20 liters, obtaining data for scaling up for industrial production. We confirm the technological and economic efficiency of the process before launching into series.
Research on industrial waste recycling
Biotechnological conversion of secondary resources into marketable products: β-starch hydrolysates into amino acids, sulfite alkali into bioethanol, distillery stillage into feed products.
Material balances and process design
Determination of consumption standards for all components of the technological process: from main raw materials to energy carriers and auxiliary materials.
Techno-economic assessment and financial modeling
Preparation of technological data for calculating capital and operating costs (CAPEX/OPEX): equipment parameters, consumption rates, operating modes. We provide the initial data to the company's economists to determine the IRR, NPV and payback period of the project.
