ZAVKOM-ENGINEERING company has completed the equipment shipment as part of the project implementation of the complete plant delivery for producing process water from complex effluents ordered by Gazprom VNIIGAZ LLC.
The supplied plant is part of the process (complex for thermal wastewater) treatment within the framework of the project «Development of the Yuzhno-Kirinskoye gas condensate field. Stages 1-21 (first stage of development)».
The process water production plant consists of three process lines. The technical solutions used in the design and manufacture of equipment make it possible to vary the productivity of liquid waste processing by more than four times. The Plant includes more than 40 units of large capacitive, heat exchange and separation equipment; the total weight is more than 600 tons.
When designing and manufacturing equipment, ZAVKOM-ENGINEERING specialists took into account the natural features of the area where the complex for thermal neutralization of liquid waste is located, namely: seismic activity of the region, coastal sea zone. The Customer's increased requirements for reliability and corrosion resistance of equipment were taken into account; this is reflected in the use of corrosion-resistant steels and special paint and varnish coatings.
As part of the implementation of the process water production plant project, detailed design documentation was developed, high-tech equipment was manufactured, auxiliary equipment was completed (Shut-off and control valves, instrumentation, pumps, automated process control systems, etc.) and delivered to the Customer's storage base.
ZAVKOM-ENGINEERING will begin performing installation supervision and commissioning work after the Customer has determined the main contractor at the complex for thermal treatment of liquid waste site, the timing of the work, and the preparation of the construction site.

The Yuzhno-Kirinskoye gas condensate field is located in the Sea of Okhotsk, on the northeastern shelf of Sakhalin Island, at a distance of 35 km from the coast and 6 km to the southeast of the Kirinskoye field. The sea depth at the field varies in the range of 110–320 m. The object is located in a seismically active region.
Opened by PJSC Gazprom in 2010. In 2013, based on the results of additional exploration at the gas and condensate field, the largest offshore oil reserves in Russia were discovered. Reserves: categories C1+C2 - 814.5 billion cubic meters of gas, 130 million tons of gas condensate (recoverable), 3.8 million tons of oil (recoverable).
The process water production plant is implemented at a facility that is an integral part of the onshore production facility. The onshore production facility receives gas produced at the bottom of the Sea of Okhotsk via offshore pipelines. The onshore production facility is designed to prepare gas and gas condensate to marketable condition and transfer it to Gazprom has unified gas transportation system.
The onshore production facility includes:
- a complex gas treatment unit using low-temperature separation technology
- a storage facility for gas condensate with a volume of about 10 thousand m3
- a condensate stabilization installation
