The Congress «Biomass. Fuel and Energy», which was held on April 18-19 at the Holiday Inn Lesnaya hotel in Moscow, successfully completed. The Congress was devoted to the use of renewable raw materials in chemistry and petrochemistry.

One of the main topics of the Congress was the Russia’s inevitable participation in the global market of chemicals and fuels from renewable raw materials due to the need to develop domestic demand for agricultural products. During the reports were discussed the issues of the bioethanol fuel law draft which was submitted to the State Duma of Russian Federation, fuel improvements with the use of bio supplements and perspectives of biofuel industry and market development in Russia.
