The ZAVKOM-ENGINEERING company supplied turnkey vacuum evaporation units as part of a project for the neutralization of industrial waste

ZAVKOM-ENGINEERING LLC has completed the implementation of several vacuum evaporation units for the disposal of salt concentrates.

The equipment was supplied as part of a project to eliminate accumulated environmental damage and ensure the safety of the hydraulic structures of the landfill for the neutralization and disposal of toxic industrial waste.

Operating principle

The technological process of purifying salt concentrate using evaporation units from ZAVKOM-ENGINEERING is organized according to a continuous scheme with subsequent cooling of the evaporated concentrate and supply to the lithification unit. In this case, purified water is condensed in the form of secondary steam, cooled and pumped to a mechanical filtration unit.

Technology Advantages

  • Our vacuum evaporation crystallizers operate using the most energy efficient technology available today — MVR (Mechanical Vapor Recompression).
  • Consistently high speed of liquid circulation in boiling pipes reduces the intensity of scale formation on heat transfer surfaces and allows increasing the time of continuous operation of the installation between washings.
  • Evaporators from ZAVKOM-ENGINEERING are designed for concentration by evaporation of solutions and concentrates with poorly soluble and crystallizing compounds.
  • They have high heat transfer coefficients: they can operate at low useful temperature differences, which is especially important when organizing conditions.
  • Due to the fact that the installation operates using its own resources, energy costs for the evaporation process are significantly (up to 95%) reduced.

Turnkey implementation

Integrated implementation of vacuum evaporation plants from ZAVKOM-ENGINEERING includes development of working design documentation, manufacturing, completion and supply of process equipment, installation, supervision and commissioning.
