ZAVKOM-ENGINEERING LLC and Amyloza LLC signed a contract agreement for our company to carry out a set of works to create a technological line for the production of amylose pea starch. The project strengthens the position of ZAVKOM-ENGINEERING in the segment of engineering solutions for deep processing of peas and expands the portfolio of implemented lines in the biotechnology industry.
The essence of the project
The agreement provides for the implementation of a full cycle of contract work: from the design of the production line to its installation, commissioning and bringing it to design parameters. The object of production will be amylose pea starch, a product in demand in the food industry, pharmaceuticals, and for the production of biodegradable materials and functional ingredients.
The customer, Amyloza LLC, is one of the new industrial players in the Russian market for deep processing of peas, developing its own capacities for the production of pea starch, protein isolate and related products.
The launch of a domestic line for the production of amylose pea starch is a step towards technological independence of the food and biotechnology industries and at the same time a response to demand from processors, pharmaceutical manufacturers and developers of functional products.

Market: peas as a strategic raw material
Deep processing of peas is one of the priority areas for the development of the Russian agro-industrial complex and food biotechnology. From one grain, enterprises produce a whole line of products with high added value: pea starch, pea protein isolate, dietary fiber.
