Making decisions about the construction of new production facilities requires relying on verified data, and not on theoretical models. The ZAVKOM-ENGINEERING laboratory provides a full cycle of preparation of initial data for feasibility studies of projects in the field of industrial biotechnology.

OUR COMPETENCE AND METHODOLOGY

Verification of raw materials. We carry out incoming control and analytical assessment of substrates: we determine the composition of dry matter, the content of target components and the real potential for bioconversion. We work with your raw materials, taking into account its actual technological limitations.

Process adaptation. We develop and optimize fermentation modes, select producer strains and nutrient media. Our experience includes working with amino acids, organic acids, enzymes and alcohols, including the use of non-traditional substrates.

Scaling. We carry out pilot tests in bioreactors with a volume of up to 20 liters. The resulting material balances and consumption standards serve as the basis for the correct calculation of CAPEX/OPEX and subsequent design.

Processing of secondary resources. We develop technologies for the conversion of industrial waste (starch hydrolysates, sulfite liquor, post-alcohol stillage) into marketable products.

Integration into the project cycle. The laboratory is part of a single engineering holding. This eliminates data loss during transfer between contractors. The results of our research are directly transferred to specialized specialists to calculate financial indicators (IRR, NPV, payback period) and develop basic and detailed designs.
