We are starting cooperation with the largest alumina production enterprise in Russia. RUSAL Achinsk JSC is a key asset of United Company RUSAL (one of the global leaders in the aluminum industry).
The plant is unique in that it operates using nepheline ore processing technology, producing not only the primary raw material for aluminum production, but also by-products: soda ash, potash and potassium sulfate.
To ensure stable operation of such a large-scale and energy-intensive production, the quality of process water is critically important.
Our contract with the industry leader will provide the Customer with turnkey supply of ion exchange resins — synthetic polymer reagents for deep purification of water and solutions. They remove harmful impurities from liquids by replacing them with neutral elements and are easily regenerated for reuse.
ION EXCHANGE RESINS ARE USED IN WATER TREATMENT AND WATER PREPARATION SYSTEMS:
- for water softening, demineralization and desalination removal of calcium and magnesium ions that cause scale formation, as well as deep purification from dissolved salts for the needs of main and auxiliary equipment;
- for purification of process solutions removal of impurities affecting the quality of the final product;
- for wastewater treatment removal of heavy metals and other contaminants before discharge or reuse.
