DEPRESSOR-DISPERSANT ADDITIVE FOR DIESEL FUEL "ZAVKOM-DDP"

ZAVKOM-DDP – depressor-dispersant additive for diesel fuel improves the low-temperature parameters: temperature limit of filterability and pour point.

Additives ZAVKOM-DDP does not affect the cloud point of diesel fuel.

Additives ZAVKOM -DDP does not preclude the appearance of paraffin crystals and their growth. The action of the additive is in contact with the surface of the nascent crystals of n-paraffins and prevents their growth and Association.

Additives ZAVKOM -DDP is effective in the introduction of it into diesel fuel prior to the cloud point of the fuel.

The additive should be introduced into the fuel at a temperature above 10°C the onset temperature of the cloud point of the fuel.

The percentage of input additive in the diesel fuel is 400 – 1000 ppm and depends on the baseline fuel.

Physico-chemical parameters of the additive " ZAVKOM-DDP" corresponds to the data given in table 1.

Methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE)

Methyl tert-butyl ether (2-methyl-2-methoxypropan, MTBE), a highly flammable, colorless liquid with ethereal odor.

Used as high-octane component for high-octane unleaded, ecologically friendly gasoline.

Monomethylaniline (MMA)

Is a transparent, pale yellow to amber color liquid.

N-methylaniline (MMA) is a high-octane antiknock additive in gasoline intended to improve its characteristics.

The fraction of aromatic hydrocarbons (FAH)

It is a colorless or light yellow substance with a characteristic odor. The composition of the mixture composed of xylene, toluene and other aromatic hydrocarbons.

The fraction of aromatic hydrocarbons is used as fuel for boiler, as a solvent, and as an octane additive for gasoline.

Toluene

Is a colorless liquid with a pungent odor reminiscent of gasoline.

Oil toluene is used as the solvent, various coating materials, as raw materials in the production of nitrotoluene, benzene, benzoic acid, and also as additive for high-octane fuels.

Orthoxylene

Is a colorless liquid with a characteristic smell of aromatic hydrocarbons.

Orthoxylene is used in the manufacture of paints, plastics, as a solvent, as a high-octane fuel additives.

Isopropyl alcohol

Isopropyl alcohol (2-propanol, isopropanol, dimethylcarbinol) is a colorless liquid with a characteristic alcohol odor, sharper in comparison with ethanol.

Used as an additive to motor fuel, helps remove water from gasoline also used as a solvent.

Isobutyl alcohol

Isobutyl alcohol (Isobutanol, 2-Methylpropanol-1) is a colorless liquid that has a characteristic odor.

Isobutanol is actively used as a solvent, such as octane additive to the fuel.

Alcohol-ether concentrate (AEC)

A byproduct of the production of butyl alcohols and 2-ethylhexanol is a mixture of aliphatic alcohols C4, C8 (60%) containing traces of esters, aldehydes and higher boiling components.

Intended for use as a solvent, a multifunctional oxygen-containing additive to increase the antiknock gasolines and enhancing the phase stability of gasoline-alcohol fuels.
